Small Plate - 'Spinne' Yellow

$12.00
Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum is the only museum in the country devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design.  The museum educates, inspires, and empowers people through design, presenting compelling educational programs, exhibitions, and publications.  Known for its comprehensive and diverse collections, Cooper Hewitt’s international holdings span thirty centuries through the present day and total more than 200,000 design objects.  This collaboration with notNeutral draws upon the museum’s rich history and takes pieces from the collection and gives them new life.

This second series features Spinne, a textile pattern created by Wiener Werkstätte artist Dagobert Peche between 1911 and 1917, reinterpreted by notNeutral in vivid colors.  Though the original textile design was conceived over 100 years ago, the, zigzag pattern is fresh and modern, adorning notNeutral’s iconic LINO mugs, small plates, wooden serving trays, and coasters.  These entertaining pieces can be used as a set, or mixed with white dinnerware to add unexpected pops of color.

Available in four color options: yellow, green, orange, and blue!

• Coupe plate decorated with a yellow-and-white pattern
• Fine porcelain
• Dishwasher- and microwave-safe
• 8.5" diameter
